LOCAL, ORGANIC, and FAIR TRADE

Amber takes care to source her nourishing body care products intentionally, using all organic, fair trade, and Pacific Northwest-made massage oils and balms. Including her own ethically wildcrafted herbal body oils, nourishing you from the outside in.

Massage Services

I love crafting each session to beautifully suit your body’s needs on a given day; whether the goal is to relax and rejuvenate, or address specific sources of pain and injury.

This typically looks like slow, deep, specific work, allowing the muscles to release~ feeling for lines of tension, adhesion, and scar tissue within the soft tissues. I love pairing this with passive movement and mobility techniques. I will listen to your verbal and non-verbal cues, muscle tissues, and breath to find your perfect pressure and session flow. This work is effective, centering, nourishing, and in tune with your needs to both treat your body's aches, and help you feel more embodied.

MODALITIES

  • This session is a synergistic blend of Swedish flow, deep specific work, and any other modality within my toolbox as most effective to have you walk out feeling more free in your body, centered, rejuvenated and inspired.

Swedish modality blends long, gliding strokes with kneading, and tissue release to reduce tension, improve circulation, and ease the nervous system. Swedish massage is highly relaxing and creates an overall sense of well-being, restoring restfulness of the body, mind, and spirit.

To this baseline, I will work with your site specific needs, finding and helping melt knots and lines of tension. Breath is encouraged to help your tissues relax… unless you’re deeply napping.

    BOOK A HOLISTIC MASSAGE →

  • This is a focused treatment session using a combination of Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT), Myofascial Release, and Sports Massage, all tied together with intuitive flow. This typically looks like slow, deep, specific work, allowing the muscles to release~ feeling for lines of tension, adhesion, and scar tissue within the soft tissues. After hearing your needs and treatment goals for the session, we will typically choose 1-2 areas to focus on and thoroughly address. A session might include some visual assessment before the session, as well as tips for stretching and strengthening exercises afterwards to help you reach your treatment goals.

Deep Tissue and NMT are effective for addressing acute and chronic pain due to past injuries, repetitive motions, or misalignment. Sports Massage enhances performance through increasing flexibility, improving circulation, speeding recovery rates, relaxing the mind, increasing muscular power by reducing restrictions, and preventing sports injury.

SESSION add-ons

CUPPING and/or Gua Sha | $0- complimentary

Cupping, a widely used Eastern Medicine technique has been found to be an effective form of Myofascial and soft tissue release. The cups create a focused lift in the tissues, allowing the release of compressed adhesions, activating the lymphatic system, removing stagnated blood and toxins, and encouraging the flow of new blood in order to release muscle tension. Cupping is effective, safe, and can be added to any massage treatment to enhance its results. Gua Sha uses a “scraping” tool to break up metabolic waste and blood stagnation. There will be skin discoloration where these techniques are performed.
